Pilot Caps

Lily has reached the age where everything she gets a hold of goes in her mouth, including her hearing aids. She pulls her hats off and her hearing aids out. At the suggestion of two moms who have experienced hearing aids on a baby (thanks Jenny and Tammy!) we are trying Hanna Andersson pilot caps. These hats are made of thin organic cotton and tie under the chin. They have been wonderful! The hearing aids stay in Lily's ears and out of her mouth!

Here are some pictures of hats that don't tie under the chin. They didn't work as well.

Here are some pictures of the Hanna Andersson pilot caps. Love them!

  1. OMG...I can't tell you how much I love this blog post! Lily is so cute in her little cap! I love the look on her face in the third picture, like, "C'mon, Mom, another picture?!" :) Pinch her cheeks for me. Muah!

  2. Pilot caps are great! Glad you're finding them useful! Lucas still puts everything in his mouth... I can't wait for it to stop!

  3. She is too cute! Now wait until she learns to untie the pilot caps or reach her tiny hands under them! I can't even use them for Aiden's CIs because they're off quicker than I get them on! haha! If Lily was a boy, I'd send you all of his boy colors!

  4. I'm so glad the hats are working! Keep plenty on hand for when she gets her CI's. We lived in them for months and months.

It was so nice to meet you last weekend. I hope we were able to answer your questions and I hope you enjoyed meeting Drew!
